As spring approaches, COMANCO’s presence in the western United States is established. COMANCO’s crew, led by Operator Ron Wyatt, traveled to a southern Arizona copper mine for the first stage of a containment project. The crew will first remove the existing geosynthetics, allowing the earthwork contractors to access the subgrade. COMANCO will return to the site in spring to install a new system with two layers of smooth HDPE and a layer of geonet.
