This week, a COMANCO crew, led by Liner Foreman Carlos Garcia, completed the installation of Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) and Secondary Geomembrane for a new 15-acre cell expansion project in Central Florida. The liner crew to date has installed over 1.3 million SF of geosynthetics, exposed the existing Cell 2’s liner system for the tie-in process, and finished excavating the entire anchor trench.
Next, the liner crew will begin the installation of the Secondary Geocomposite layer and gravel for the Leak Detection System (LDS) Trench.
