A COMANCO team is gearing up to construct the first cell of what will eventually be six new landfill cells at a Northeast Florida landfill site. The team is led by Project Manager Thomas Raab, Assistant Project Manager Michael Taylor, and Superintendent Bill Newman.
The new construction project will consist of earthwork and geosynthetics liner installation over approximately 7-acres. The first phase of the project will include excavating, hauling, and stockpiling over 150,745cy of material, which will aid in supplying some of the resources needed to fine grade the 311,700sf area.
Once completed, the new cell will provide our customer with a new landfill cell ready to dispose of CD waste materials while protecting the environment safely.
