COMANCO continues to make progress on a new landfill expansion in South Dade County. They are putting the finishing touches to a prepared subgrade to start liner installation for the first three sub-cells as part of this 55-acre expansion. To get to this point over 55,000 Tons of imported fill and 1.5 million SF of geosynthetics have been delivered to site thus far. Stay tuned; liner installation is scheduled to commence this week. The site project team lead by Superintendent Chase Yarbrough & Project Engineer Andrew Hooks continue to lead the COMANCO crew & subcontractors while most importantly upholding COMANCO’s safety-first work environment.
