Over the last few months, COMANCO has been hard at work on a Central Florida Landfill expansion project. Superintendent Matt Carroll and the earthwork crew have been hauling and placing structural fill material for the new cell construction. This week, they will focus on preparing subgrade for Liner Supervisor Gerardo Ruiz and crew to begin deployment. Shortly after the six-layer liner containment systems get underway, COMANCO will look to start the leachate collection piping and protective cover placement.
