COMANCO Environmental has recently completed a new cell at a landfill located in Washington state. The project consisted of the installation of 110,000 SF of reinforced geosynthetic clay liner, 60-mil textured geomembrane, 200-mil double sided geocomposite, 80-mil textured geomembrane, and 14 oz. Non-Woven Geotextile. The crew welded over 1,600 LF of new liner that tied the cell to an existing cell.
Superintendent Martin Calderon and the 10-man crew completed this project well ahead of schedule with no safety incidents. Great production was achieved for each phase of deployment as a result of proper planning prior to the start of installation, efficient construction methods, and a highly experienced crew.
