With new concrete slabs poured and coated at the West Contra Costa Sanitary Landfill, the COMANCO Team started with the movement and placement of sanitary water treatment tanks this past week with the assistance of heavy-lift contractor Bragg Crane and their 70-ton Crane.
The tanks and vessels placed on the Treatment Slab ranged from a simple 500 gallon Polymer Mix Tank to two 12,000 Gallon/6000 pound Fiberglass Constructed Holding Tanks. COMANCO and Bragg also placed a new 5000 Gallon/9000 pound Sludge Mix Tank as well as a new 60 Cubic Yard/18,000 pound Filter Press. These were just part of the 22 new components placed during the layout of the New Leachate Treatment Plant.
