Just this past week, COMANCO began hauling and placing protective cover at a landfill expansion project in Central Florida.
Superintendent Matt Carroll has been heading up the earthwork team as they have hauled and placed over 15,000 CY to-date. In total, there will be nearly 40,000 CY of protective cover needed to complete the design.
On the same site, Superintendent Gerardo Ruiz has been overseeing the liner installation phase. Over 1.7 million square feet of geosynthetics have been installed so far making up over 70 percent that will be installed on the expansion project.
Check back in in the coming days as COMANCO will begin the HDPE leachate collection pipework and gravel burrito wrap!
