COMANCO New Hires Start Strong with Hands-On Task Training
This August, six COMANCO new hires start strong with hands-on task training. In addition to introductory safety courses, all new employees must participate in hands-on task training. Task training aims to familiarize employees with the tools, equipment, and procedures commonly used in the field. All employees, from laborers to engineers, benefit from adequately understanding the basics of environmental construction before they begin their new positions.
At task training, new employees are instructed by our experienced mentors on the proper use of tools like extruder guns, grinders, heat sealers, and more. This portion prepares them for geosynthetic installation, repairs, and more. Additionally, employees will learn safety procedures and equipment maintenance. These basic skills ensure their first days on the job run smoothly.
