A COMANCO crew led by superintendent Nathan Wilfong recently broke ground on the Leon County Landfill Closure project in Tallahassee, Florida. The project consists of 2.8 million SF of 40-mil textured LLDPE geomembrane along with a second layer of 300-mil geocomposite. Throughout the two year project, COMANCO will complete the installation of nearly 4 miles of drainage pipe, 34 passive gas wells and hauling 430,000 CY of dirt.
