This week, a crew led by Project Manager Dragan Milosavljevic and Foreman Max Macedo extended a pipe culvert underneath a road intersection and widened the turning radius on one side of the intersection. The crew removed a section of the existing pipe section, installed corrugated HDPE pipe to connect to the existing pipe (held in place at the tee by concrete) and placed and compacted clay fill and shell rock in order to extend the roadway. Sod was also installed around the new slope face. The crew was working in a tight area with a moderate amount of traffic, but the work was completed safely without any incidents.
