COMANCOs Group 1 Project Leader Complete Hands-on Training at Streamsong
Our Project Leaders at COMANCO are starting the holiday weekend with some hands-on Leadership Training, and it’s been an exciting experience! A group of 13 individuals, including Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen, attended a 2-day program focused on developing their leadership skills, particularly in project communication.
This training wasn’t your typical lecture-style session. Instead, it involved engaging in team-building challenges throughout the two days. The participants had to step out of their comfort zones and tackle various high-pressure situations using marbles, ping pong balls, and playing cards as part of their interactions. These activities tested their presentation skills and ability to react effectively.
But the excitement didn’t end there. After the training, our Project Leaders showcased their Bass fishing and clay shooting skills during post-training activities.
We want to thank Ed Palpant and Michelle Thompson from FMI for sharing valuable insights and teaching our team these important skills. The attendees left the training feeling great and equipped with tools to communicate ideas and influence others more effectively, whether with the general contractor, customers, subcontractors, or fellow employees. These skills will undoubtedly contribute to their career growth at COMANCO.
