COMANCO recently completed a landfill stormwater pond slope enhancement job in Palatka, Florida. About 1,800 LF of the pond’s backslope had to be modified & re-shaped. The existing slope was stripped and over 4,000 CY of structural fill was imported to establish a proper grade. Once the imported fill was fine graded & compacted, sod was installed for stabilization. This was another safe and successful job completed by Superintendent, Chase Yarbrough, and his crew.
