COMANCO recently completed the new entrance road leading into a landfill in central Florida. The work included the loading, hauling and replacement of over 30,000cy of existing unsuitable material and placing over 35,000cy of soil fill to bring the road to grade. Once to grade, COMANCO placed the limerock road base and finished the project with 2.5″ of asphalt. Also included in the work was the expansion of a holding pond onsite, including the supply and install of 48″, 24″ and 18″ RCP pipe, placing a Type P Stormwater Manhole and finishing all perimeter ditches with sod. In addition, COMANCO was in constant communication with the scale house supplier and scale contractor to ensure the project ran properly and sequenced the work accordingly. The project is now complete. The project was led by Superintendents Bill Newman and Chase Yarbrough and Project Engineer Marcus Gress. Please enjoy the aerial photos of the project.
