Superintendent Alejandro Loza and his crew recently completed a new landfill cell expansion in Arcadia, FL.
This is the 3rd cell expansion COMANCO has successfully completed at this site. The project consisted of a 3-layer system with 434,700 sf of 60mil HDPE geomembrane, 18,600 sf of GCL, and 410,495sf of 250mil geocomposite.
The crew also installed 1,100 ft of gravel and perforated HDPE piping for the leachate collection system. Another successful project completed on time and with zero safety incidents!
