COMANCO Begins Landfill Expansion Project in Central Florida

by

Earlier this week COMANCO started construction on a new cell expansion project at a Central Florida Landfill facility. The scope of work on this 10-acre cell includes hauling and placing clean fill material, a six-layer geosynthetic system using nearly three million SF of GCL, Geomembrane, and Geocomposite, a leachate collection system consisting of HDPE pipe, and granite wrapped in geotextile, placing a two-foot protective cover layer and sodding.  Superintendent Matt Carroll and crew have already installed erosion control measures and started the clearing and stripping portion. The team will look to start hauling and placing fill material next week. COMANCO is ready to provide the SAFETY, QUALITY, and SERVICE that it is known to deliver to valued customers!
