Last week, a group of eight new hires attended Task Training at COMANCO. The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires TASK training for employees prior to job assignment. This training covers potential hazards and safety regulations associated with the task, manufacturer’s operating instructions/procedures and COMANCO’s expectations for work practices to be carried out. A thorough, hands-on demonstration and instruction promote a better understanding and greater knowledge of the safe operation of the equipment.
