COMANCO Welcomes November New Hire Class: A Week of Training, Safety, and Teamwork.
COMANCO is excited to welcome our latest new hires to the team! Six employees completed a week of training to prepare them for their new roles. This week-long training course provides new employees with a foundational understanding of COMANCO’s safety, quality, and service expectations. Additionally, it familiarizes new hires with tools and procedures that will help them in the field.
Safety First
The first and most important aspect of joining the COMANCO team is understanding our core value of safety. Our priority when hiring new employees is to ensure that each individual is well-equipped to handle any situation. COMANCO partnered with Safety Solutions & Supply for this new hire class. Dennis, the course instructor, covered essential safety topics, including an in-depth review of the guidelines set in place by OSHA, MSHA, and the Florida Phosphate Producers. Additionally, the class discussed fall protection procedures, fire extinguisher safety, first aid, CPR, and more.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Once the safety courses are complete, new hires begin task training. Task Training is a dynamic hands-on program designed to equip our employees with the practical experience necessary for success in the field. The success of this program is due to the knowledge and dedication of our experienced trainers. The trainer’s investment, coupled with the new hire’s enthusiasm, creates a dynamic of trust and camaraderie between employees of all titles and experience.
