COMANCO Sponsors Tampa Bay Watch’s 20th Annual Tarpon Rodeo
Last Friday, COMANCO joined the 20th Annual Tarpon Rodeo hosted by Tampa Bay Watch. The event raised funds to support the protection and restoration of Tampa Bay’s waterways. Our team attended as guests and sponsors, thanks to an invitation from our partners at Tampa Electric (TECO).
General Superintendent Bill Newman, Superintendents Gerardo Ruiz and Tommy Terry, and Project Manager Elizabeth Surface represented COMANCO on the water. The group spent the morning fishing in the bay. During the trip, Gerardo successfully caught a tarpon for the team.
This annual event helps fund local marine restoration projects, which improve water quality and support wildlife habitats. Because COMANCO works closely with natural environments, we understand the long-term value of this type of work.
