COMANCO is proud to congratulate Oscar Gonzalez, Operator, who is celebrating six years as a COMANCO employee on April 22, 2016.
Fun Facts about Oscar: Oscar has been working for COMANCO since 2010 and says he enjoys working for the company because “COMANCO takes care of its employees.” He says the safety procedures have evolved over the years, and he recognizes the importance that COMANCO puts on safety to protect their employees. Oscar operates backhauls, loaders, haul trucks, rollers, skid steers, and when needed, he helps deploy Liner. He considers himself to be a team player and says he is always ready to jump in and help when needed.
In his free time, Oscar likes to work around his yard and make improvements to his home. Oscar has three children and one grandchild who is barely a year old. He is originally from Miami and says he loves Hispanic food. In the future, Oscar would like to learn how to operate even more equipment and plans to work in close collaboration with his superintendent and co-workers to gain more experience from them in the years to come.
