COMANCO is “LIVE! From the Field” at a New Landfill Installation
COMANCO is “LIVE! From the Field,” completing a new Landfill installation in Central Florida. The crew began work on the site just last week and has already completed 135,000 CY of excavation and 23,000 CY of demucking. Our team has also installed 363,000 SF of 60mil HDPE DS Textured Liner, effectively “blacking out” the entire 8.5-acre cell.
To complete the project, they will install 363,000 SF of 200mil DS Geocomposite on top of the liner. Because the client contracted COMANCO to complete the Earthwork and Liner installation, we have optimized the efficiency of the project. Being in charge of both aspects of the job allows for a seamless transition between the two components.
Throughout the project, COMANCO has remained on top of changes needed to keep completion on schedule. Once finished, the client will have a proper disposal area for waste, accommodating the debris generated by Hurricane Ian that is still coming in. The crew has delivered quality results thus far in their progress, and we look forward to the final product coming together this week.
