COMANCO Team Makes Time To Cross-Train On A ClosureTurf Project In Pascagoula, Mississippi.
COMANCO Supervisor Carlos Garcia has been busy cross-training two crew members on completing the final stages of a ballast system with a sand in-fill over ClosureTurf. They use HCSS Plans to document the precise in-fill measurements with GPS.
There are 20 checks per acre before and after the sand in-fill is groomed. The checks alert the team when to service their equipment, or adjust their grooming methods, ultimately saving our customer time and materials. For example, the sand in-fill must be at a minimum of 0.50 inches. Going over by even 1/4-inch drives costs over budget.
