COMANCO ensures legacies live on with Employee Training Program (ETP)
COMANCO ensures that legacies live on with our Employee Training Program (ETP). We unite young workers with experienced employees each month on a mock job site. This collaborative space allows our skilled Liner Technicians to pass on what they have learned in their years of experience to the new generation.
Last month, we invited Cruz Hernandez, an accomplished Liner Technician at COMANCO, to ETP. Hernandez has been with COMANCO since 2006. In his time with us, he has completed over 138,900 LF of Fusion welding and 39,300 LF of Extrusion welding. Cruz worked hands-on with younger employees, thus teaching them how to weld at our most recent ETP session. While understanding our equipment is essential, practice is equally important. Our unique program provides inexperienced employees a risk-free environment to test their knowledge.
