In late September, COMANCO Environmental began assisting West County Landfill in a facility upgrade out West in California. A total of
35 locations on Republic Services‘ Class I Hazardous Waste Landfill are being upgraded to improve network communications at all Leachate Extraction points. COMANCO was asked to expose and install over 5,000 feet of under ground conduit and terminate at 35 locations around the site. After the new network cables are installed, Landfill staff will be able to monitor Leachate pumping more effectively resulting in a more environmental friendly facility. Paul Marks was the the Project Manager and Superintendent and has completed multiple projects for the site’s Owner, Republic Services, Inc. whom COMANCO maintains a strong relationship with.
