COMANCO Employees Complete Annual FPP MSHA Training Course

This month, 12 dedicated employees participated in the Florida Phosphate Producers (FPP) Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) refresher course as required with Safety Training & Consulting. This course addresses the safety concerns of new hires and contractors. During this comprehensive orientation, workers are equipped to identify and handle potential on-site hazards effectively.

In addition to acquiring vital information, attendees receive a renewed Florida Phosphate Producers Picture Identification Card (FPP ID Card), enabling access to FPP facilities and mine sites. Furthermore, Federal law states that all miners receive primary and annual training. This mandate means mine operators must maintain an effective training plan to ensure the well-being of their workforce. MSHA collaborates with miners and operators to fulfill these training regulations by offering materials, guidance, and hands-on assistance.
