COMANCO Environmental continues deployment at a phosphate mine in Idaho. Superintendent Carlos Garcia and a ten-man crew have installed roughly 600,000 SF of geosynthetic clay laminated liner (GCLL) and geocomposite. The GCLL is seamed using bentonite clay and spray adhesives while the geocomposite is being tied and sewn together. The 3:1 slopes that are being lined are crossed with multiple drainage trenches and anchor trenches. We look forward to seeing the final product as the crew gets closer to completion. Please enjoy some photos of the crew at work.
