In an effort to maintain our commitment and our customer’s commitment to working safely at all times, COMANCO’s Vice President Tommy Topp and Safety Director Carlos Campos attended the ‘Simplot Annual Contractor Conference’ which took place in Pocatello, ID on January 15, 2015.
The Conference covered the recent changes made to the safety procedures and programs, which are reviewed on a regular basis, in an effort to improve safety and ensure that all contractors understand the expectations while working at the Simplot facilities.
The main presenters of the meeting were Simplot Project Engineer Roger Sorenson and Plant Manager John Bob, along with others, who discussed the following safety topics: Employee Training, Environmental Expectations, GHS & PPE, Safety & Security, Policies, Contractor Expectations & Incident Review, Maintenance Expectations, & Chemical Tracking
This conference helps COMANCO maintain consistency with Simplot’s Safety Program & Procedures.
