COMANCO opened the year with an amazing experience for our New Hire Class, providing them with a vast amount of Safety Training founded on awareness and understanding of workplace hazards.
The week-long safety training included OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid, and Safety AED, all of which include identifying work-related threats to safety, while also reporting and controlling a situation.
Likewise, COMANCO prepares new hires for their first day on the job site with hands-on task training. This program provides new hires the chance to see and operate some of the equipment they will use on the job while also receiving basic knowledge of the equipment and safe practices for use. A big thanks to Equipment Technician Samuel Smith and his colleagues within Fleet, for the valuable training they provided. We also wish to thank Todd Klementz, and Frank Passarrella for facilitating the New Hires with an incredibly informative and engaging Job Site visit.
Educating all employees on the value of working safe has always been a priority for COMANCO.
