COMANCO Welcomes New Employees to the Team
After completing their training last week, COMANCO welcomes new employees to the team! Our three latest hires finished task training with the help of our experienced instructors. Task training provides all new hires with the hands-on experience they need for success in the field.
All new employees begin with a week-long introductory training course. These classes include OSHA 10, FPP, AED, CPR, and First Aid, all reviewed in detail. After completing these courses, hands-on task training allows them to apply the skills learned in the classroom to real-life scenarios. For example, Sam Smith demonstrates how to operate an extrusion welder properly according to safety and quality guidelines in the photos above.
As COMANCO grows, so does our team, and building a quality system requires building a quality base. Teaching all employees the essentials from the beginning reinforces the whole team. Even workers employed by COMANCO for many years regularly revisit these classes to refresh their knowledge and skills.
