COMANCO Superintendent Bill Newman and his Team are breaking ground in the new phases of the Stormwater project.
COMANCO has increased the capacity of the Team to allow for work on three sections of the project, the Effluent Processing Facility (EPF), North West Ditch (NWD) and the Landfill Area (LF).
Three of Three Sections:
Landfill Area – Work in this section includes the reconstruction of Pond 7 into a geosynthetic lined stormwater containment feeding from the stormwater collected from the open channel lined drains around the closed landfill. The team lead by Leadman Jose Martinez has started the relocation of existing pressure header pipes and clearance of the area for work to commence in this section.
