A COMANCO crew, led by Foreman Robert Dobert, began installing Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) and HDPE batten bar for a Nature Preserve located in Vero Beach, FL. The new 71-acre preserve will feature settling basins, scrubbers, filter marshes, shallow marshes, and multiple floways to serve as biological filters that will provide clean water throughout the preserve. The new preserve will be a future home for many native plant species and wildlife.
