COMANCO is preparing to begin GCL installation for a containment area in the Port of Tampa. The crew, led by Superintendent Bill Newman, has completed removing the existing vegetation that had overtaken the area and de-watered the site. COMANCO has imported general fill in order to re-grade the subgrade prior to GCL placement. The GCL will be covered by 8” of clean fill, an 8oz geotextile, and a final 4” of clean aggregate.
