The project involved installing 19,849 square feet of a premium 45-mil reinforced polypropylene (PP) liner. Because this state-of-the-art material boasts exceptional strength, durability, and chemical resistance, the integrity of the containment system will be safeguarded for years to come.

- Seamless Integration: Pre-fabricated panels, meticulously crafted by our trusted partners, EPI (Environmental Protection Inc.) in Traverse City, MI, ensured a smooth and efficient installation.
- Enhanced Stability: Removing existing batten bars and metal structures allowed for optimal liner placement, promoting stability and reducing the risk of movement.
- Reinforced Foundation: Washout areas were addressed by fixing the subgrade and excavating/backfilling a new anchor trench. This then creates a more robust foundation for the liner, bolstering its resilience against factors like erosion.
- Added Slope Protection: We placed 6-foot ballast tubes along the slope’s toe for additional stabilization, therefore minimizing erosion risks and potential slope failure.
