Through a partnership with Dobbs Equipment, John Deere engine training was recently provided to COMANCO technicians at the COMANCO headquarters in Plant City, FL. The class was led by Steve Barker, a John Deere dealer & certified trainer. The training focused on the technical aspects of troubleshooting and repairing John Deere engines with an emphasis on the fuel systems. COMANCO technicians were instructed on the newest Final Tier 4 diesel engines. The morning session was classroom-based and covered components and theory. The afternoon was hands-on with a new 544K-II Wheel Loader provided by Dobbs Equipment. Juan Gonzalez, one of COMANCO’s Heavy Equipment Mechanics, said that he appreciated the hands-on portion where troubleshooting techniques were demonstrated and practiced. With our large Deere fleet, all COMANCO technicians will significantly benefit from the increased troubleshooting skills and knowledge provided by the in-depth training.
