This week, a group of new hires concluded an extensive week-long training program, which included OSHA 10, CPR, First Aid, Safety AED, and hands-on task training.
Many things are involved in a CPR class, proper technique, when to perform, when to stop, how to keep yourself safe, when to call 9-1-1, and how to prepare mentally. First Aid teaches necessary skills if an accident happens and best practices to handle the situation.
COMANCO’s hands-on task training program gives new hires the chance to see and operate some of the equipment which will be on job sites. Each employee received basic knowledge of the equipment and safe practices for use.
