Constantly battling Florida afternoon showers, a COMANCO crew, led by superintendent Nathan Wilfong, have excavated over 4 acres of a 65-acre site and is in the process of preparing the subgrade for the liner. In addition to the liner, another big focus for the project was to clear the entire stockpile of approximately 13,600 CY of dirt fill material located right next to a sports complex near the site. The crew was able to clear the entire stockpile and hydroseeding should be complete before the start of the local Pop Warner football season. COMANCO’s crew continues to push forward with its core values of SAFETY, QUALITY, and SERVICE at the forefront of this project.
