On a COMANCO project site in Central Florida, our team prepares for heat on the job. In order to keep the crew safe, our team set up cooling stations around the job site.
With heat index readings increasing to over 115 degrees, we are doing everything to keep the guys cool, such as offering:
- ice water in coolers all over the job site
- cooling towels
- shade hard hat brims
- cooling tents
- multiple mandatory cooling breaks
- buddy systems
