This week Nick Rauh, Project Engineer, and Justin Cruice, Junior Estimator, flew to Austin, TX to attend Construction QA/QC training offered by TRI Environmental Inc. Justin and Nick gained a comprehensive understanding of preparing and reviewing CQC/CQA plans, performing CQA tests, as well as implementing and reviewing field CQC/CQA procedures.
The 2-day CQA training focused on installation of geomembranes, geotextiles, geocomposites, geogrids, geo-appurtenances, compacted clay and geosynthetic clay liners. Nick and Justin also attended a geomembrane seaming demonstration and a tour of TRI’s Geosynthetic Testing and Research laboratories. Justin and Nick are eager to apply the newly acquired knowledge to work at COMANCO!
