COMANCO arrived last week at a landfill in Arkansas to install the geosynthetics on a new cell expansion. The project consists of deploying a Reinforced Geosynthetic Clay Liner on the slope, an Unreinforced Geosynthetic Clay Liner on the floor, a 60 mil HDPE Geomembrane liner, and a Composite Drainage Net over a 5-acre cell. Also included in the work is a 40 mil HDPE rain flap along the cell limits. The crew has been doing a great job this past week in covering open area while maintaining detail and quality to a high standard. The project is being led by Foreman Tommy Terry, Jr. and quality control is being documented and upheld by QC Technician Sesar Quirino. We are scheduled to be completed with the project next week. Keep up the great work and enjoy some photos of the progress!
