Superintendent Martin Calderon and his COMANCO crew just completed a 14.5-acre Landfill Closure in Missouri.
The area was closed utilizing the ClosureTurf® system consisting of a 50 mil LLDPE Drain Liner®, Engineered Synthetic Turf, and the specified in-fill. For all COMANCO projects, maintaining the highest Quality is of utmost importance, and this project was no exception. During the liner installation, Martin maintained his excellent Destructive Testing Failure Rate and left the project with no failures with over 80 Destructive Samples taken. During the in-fill installation, COMANCO was able to GPS and measure the in-fill on a day-to-day basis for real-time updates to the material inventory and schedule.
