Earlier this week, a COMANCO crew began deployment of the Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) and Secondary Geomembrane for a new cell expansion project located in Central Florida.
The new 15-acre cell will consist of a five-layer geosynthetic system comprised of nearly 3.5 million SF of GCL, 60-mil textured HDPE Geomembrane and Geocomposite.
The earthwork crew, led by Superintendent Chris Sowers, has done an incredible job preparing subgrade and exposing/cleaning the tie-in to the existing active cell ahead of the liner crew. This dedication to SAFETY, QUALITY, and SERVICE will provide Liner Supervisor Carlos Garcia and crew with a seamless installation.
Please continue to check the blog as the liner crew continues to make progress!
