A COMANCO crew is moving forward with a geosynthetics installation for a new landfill cell in Houston, Texas. COMANCO is currently installing a new 15.5 acre, 3 layers, 3 material geosynthetic system as part of a landfill expansion. The geosynthetic system includes the installation of 40mil textured LLDPE geomembrane, reinforced GCL, and 250mil DS geocomposite. Superintendent Tommy Terry and the 14 man crew have faced hot temperatures and summer rains but continue to move forward with the installation. Please enjoy some photos of the project thus far.
