COMANCO Completes Vertical Well Drilling on Partial Landfill Closure

Just this past week, COMANCO was able to drill six vertical gas well installations on a partial landfill closure for Desoto County in Arcadia, FL.

B&H Drilling was subcontracted out to complete 150 feet of well drilling while COMANCO Superintendent Matt Carroll leads the team responsible for backfilling each borehole with the appropriate 4-inch HDPE perforated pipe and #4 FDOT approved aggregate.

Proper safety precautions were taken to ensure this phase was done safely which included covering each borehole with a metal grate until backfilling was completed and a tie-off for all employees working near the boreholes while setting pipe and roping off the drilling perimeter.
