A COMANCO crew led by Supervisors Pablo Medina and Carlos Garcia installed a four-layer system in a pond application that also consisted of a leak collection and removal sump area.
The system included 50,000sf of 24oz geotextile, 25,000sf of 60mil drain liner, and 25,000sf layer of 80mil single-sided textured HDPE geomembrane.
The system was then topped off with a final layer of 24oz geotextile as a cushion.
The crew also installed three pipe boots and battled smoke almost every day from the blazing fires in the nearby state of California.
Carlos and Pablo continued to remind the crew about safety and successfully completed this project with zero incidents.
Great job, team!
