COMANCO crew completes 8-acre cell in the Arizona sun. Three layers of geosynthetics liner consisting of GCL, 60mil double-sided textured liner, and single-sided geocomposite have been completed for this landfill cell expansion project. Temperatures have been in the mid 90’s causing temperatures on top of the liner well above the 100-degree mark. Tony Sanchez and his 10-man crew took all the proper precautions staying hydrated and taking ample breaks to allow for the heat while keeping an eye out for rattlesnakes who have come to visit. Congratulations to Tony and his crew for another SAFE COMANCO project on schedule and on budget.
