This past Friday COMANCO Environmental completed the geosynthetics installation of a new 5.5 acre cell at Southwest Landfill in Canyon, Texas. The scope of work consisted of deploying a 60-mil HDPE geomembrane followed by a geocomposite layer over top. Approximately 240,000 SF of each material was installed. COMANCO will return to the site in a few weeks to install a protective rain flap.
