Last week, COMANCO began installing the geosynthetics for a new 15-acre cell at the JED Landfill located in St. Cloud, FL. A five layer system will be installed consisting of a GCL (geosynthetic clay liner) over the sub-grade with secondary and primary layers each composed of a 60-mil HDPE geomembrane & a double-sided geocomposite being placed over top. Superintendent, Arnulfo Martinez is heading the 26-man crew on-site.
