The landfill cell expansion scope consisted of 50 acres broken into five subcells. COMANCO installed a five-layer liner system totaling 10.3 million sqft.
Additional expansion work provided by COMANCO includes the installation for 3,500 linear feet of LCS pipe, gravel, and textile burrito wrap. 150,000 cubic yards of protective cover, and five sump concrete riser pads – two 18″ risers with EPG pumps. COMANCO also installed a leachate force main tied into existing and new subcells, and a perimeter stormwater swale; six energy dissipaters with 30″ culverts, fabriform, and sod & seed.
