Earlier this week, COMANCO started liner deployment at a landfill just south of Dallas, Texas. Superintendent Tony Sanchez, and his crew of 12 men, are already facing tough conditions. Tony is doing a great job ensuring that his crew stays hydrated in the intense heat. In addition, high winds are present, requiring extra ballasting and careful planning. The scope of this project consists of installing over 300,000 SF of 60-mil smooth HDPE liner, followed by the same amount of 270-mil single-sided Geocomposite. Also included is approximately 1,000 LF of tie-in to existing liner and 1,000 LF of rain flap. Tony and crew expect to finish up this project in just under two weeks.
