COMANCO Superintendent Larry Graham, accompanied by Leadman Ramon Irizarry and crew, started the 1st phase of a new landfill cell project in Puerto Rico.
The first two acres of the new cells consist of a three-layer geosynthetic system of GCL, 60mil White HDPE Textured Geomembrane, and Double-Sided Geocomposite.
Additionally, while on the island, the crew will weld the leachate collection piping, consisting of 6” HDPE perforated pipe and the 18” HDPE riser pipe to be incorporated into the leachate pump system.
